The film is based on the Flash anime chronicling the real-life experiences of popular creator Shigeto Yamagara. It all begins when an American Shorthair named gGin-Oh-Goh meets an aspiring young manga artist on July 7, the Japanese star festival. The two are drawn to each other, become friends and then, familycThe story follows their relationship from their first encounter to their final farewell ten years later.

The popular up-and-coming actor, Aoi Nakamura (of BECK (2010), Ohoku (2010), My Back Page (2011) and Hoshi No Furu Machi (2011)) will play the challenging leading role in which he co-stars with an unpredictable kitten. In the last half of the film, Nakamura portrays a young man who must part with a beloved friend, with subdued passion.

The voice of the cat, Gin-Oh-Go, will be played by top voice actress and singer Maaya Sakamoto of gEvangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advanceh (in the Mari Illustrious Makinami role). She will also be singing the theme song gTegamih (gLetterh) written especially for this movie.
